Creating your own recipes

Create your own recipe directly in the meal plan and use it as an option in the client’s meals.

Updated 15.10.2026

Start a new recipe

  • Open the client’s meal plan (e.g. a completely blank plan)
  • Tap the plus button (+) to create a new recipe

A dialog opens where you fill in information about the recipe.

Fill in the basics

In the dialog, enter:

  • Name of the recipe (e.g. “Omelette with ham and pepper”)
  • Meal type (e.g. breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • Short description or keywords, e.g. “Whisk the eggs, cook the egg base, add ham and pepper and fold the omelette.”

Add a picture

Drag a picture into the image field in the dialog. It makes the recipe easier to recognise in the library and more motivating for the client.

Add foods

  1. Search for the food (e.g. “egg raw”)

  2. Drag the food into the recipe

  3. Repeat for the rest (e.g. cooked ham, light cheese, rapeseed oil)

Set amounts

Enter the amount you want for each food, for example:

  • 30 g cheese
  • 100 g ham
  • 5 g rapeseed oil
  • 3 eggs

Once the amounts are set, the nutritional content is calculated automatically (calories and macros).

Saving happens automatically

The recipe is saved automatically when you see a green check at the top. It is then in your library.

Find the recipe in the library and use it in the plan

  • Search for the recipe in the library (e.g. “omelette”)
  • Drag the recipe into an option in the meal

You can then compare the recipe with the target for the meal.

What does green mean?

  • Green means the recipe is within the target for the meal
  • As a rule of thumb: green means within about 90% of the target

If it does not turn green, you can:

  • adjust the meal target (calories/macros), or
  • adjust the amounts in the recipe (portion size)
