Get paid with Stripe (card payments + Klarna)
You can take card and Klarna payments through Stripe, but first you need to register some extra information about yourself and your business, and payments come with a transaction fee.
Register your information with Stripe
Before you can get paid through PT Pro, you need to register information about yourself and your business with Stripe. Stripe needs this to identify you and pay out the money you earn through PT Pro.
You register the required information under Business → Stripe. Read more about Stripe at stripe.com.
Supported payment methods
Card payments and Link (Stripe’s own wallet)
Available for all types of products. Card details can be stored securely with Stripe for future renewals, or used for one-off payments for products that don’t renew.
Klarna
Available only for one-off payments for products that don’t renew. Klarna must be enabled on your Stripe account before customers can select it. If it is not enabled, the payment will stop when the customer selects Klarna.
How the payment process works for the customer
You add the product to the customer, or the customer orders from the landing page and you approve it
The customer logs in, selects a payment method, and accepts the terms. The Accept button only becomes active once both are done
The payment is charged, and the product is activated in the background. It may take a few minutes before it shows as active
Pricing
The price for processing payments through PT Pro depends on the payment method and is tied directly to Stripe’s fees.
- Domestic and EU card payments, and Link: 2.7% + NOK 2
- International card payments: 3.55% + NOK 2
- Klarna: 3.29% + NOK 4
