Creating workouts

Build workouts in the library with the right settings, exercises and work details, ready to be added to a programme.

Updated 15.10.2026

Where do you create workouts?

  • In the library: Here you get an overview of all your workouts, and you can filter and find workouts to reuse in programmes later. This is the recommended place to create workouts.
  • On the client: You can also create workouts directly on the client when you edit their programme, but you have less room on the screen.

Workout settings

When you add a new workout, you need to:

  • Open the settings and make sure the workout is set to active
  • Choose the type: full workout or group (smaller groups of exercises that can be added to workouts later)
  • Set the level, format, duration and goal for filtering
  • Choose the kind of workout (strength or endurance)

Description

In the description field you can write about:

  • The goal of the workout
  • Things to keep in mind
  • Focus areas, methods and other details

Adding exercises

  • Search or filter: Use the list to search or filter by type, muscle, equipment and so on.
  • Create new exercises: You can add new exercises directly from the workout. See Creating exercises.
  • Use groups: Create predefined groups (e.g. “leg warm-up”) that you can reuse
  • Organise: Move exercises up and down, group exercises together and name the groups
